John Song is the Senior Pastor of City of Hope and loves helping people know the grace of Jesus Christ. A lifelong Columbia resident, John first worked as a band director in the Howard County Public School System before following God’s call to ministry. He earned his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., and was ordained in 2017.
John also serves as an adjunct faculty of Metro Baltimore Seminary, on the Board of Directors for the One America Movement, and enjoys speaking to college and youth groups. When he’s not serving at the church, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, Paige, their two kids, and their mini Goldendoodle, Nova—usually on the hunt for the perfect coffee shop, playground, and restaurant adventure.
