We are returning to virtual services

City of Hope Church has returned to ONLY VIRTUAL worship services. Due to the Maryland's increased limitations for in person gatherings. In an effort to keep everyone safe, we are returning to everything being virtual. At 9:45, please join us on Zoom for worship followed with the sermon and then join us again on Zoom for a church-wide Zoom Sunday School discussion. We look forward to seeing you.

CHILDREN's RESOURCES

Fun Christ-centered lesson plans to do with your kids at home

Grief is not just an adult thing. Children need to know that it's okay to grieve. As parents, we are stewards. How we talk about and deal with grief will impact the way our children talk about and deal with grief. Our children have emotions and they are watching us for clues on what to do with those emotions. If you're looking for ways to be more intentional with your child about grief, check out the resources below.

God Equips His Suffering Saints To Serve

Why do we suffer?  What is the point of it all?  Pastor Brian tackles these questions and more in our current sermon series.

Meet Our Pastor!

Pastor Brian joins us from Philadelphia by way of Virginia.  He has been with us since last fall of 2018. He is married and has 4 children.

Partners in the Gospel

Jesus tells us to make disciples of all nations.  This is something we embrace as  a church, supporting local, national, and global missionaries.

About City Of Hope Presbyterian Church

"For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ  and him crucified."

Jesus Christ.  Our faith begins and ends with Him.   Whether it be participating in our Sunday services, attending  our mid-week community small groups, joining in regular services at the local jail, or helping in our weekly ESL program, we seek to honor and glorify Him in all we do .

‚Äč

We are a diverse body of believers seeking to both graciously love each other and mercifully love our community.  Founded in 2007, our church exists to extend the grace of Jesus Christ through community and connection.

"[We must not lose] the elementary principles of faith ... regular and thorough meditation on the promises of God, ongoing repentance based on the intense study of Scripture, continual personal and corporate prayer, daring gospel communication and discipling, mobilizing every member's gifts for Christ's mission to the world, and each congregation working to plant daughter churches."
