I Did It!

One week, or seven days or how about 168 hours! I can’t believe it for I spent an entire week without turning on my computer and checking emails. Miracles do happen. So to all those who say that God can’t change bad habits, well He can. Well at least a week for me. It is interesting that I can get excited for this little milestone in my life but for those who know me (ask my kids) taking a week off of emails is truly very cool! I am thankful that God is at work even in those little things, and He enabled me to spend some quality time with my wife and children this past week in the Pocono’s.


On another subject, we will again host another Open Forum on Friday, July 18 at Java Grande. We will continue our discussion on how the issues of race affect all aspects of our lives. We will have a four-person panel from different backgrounds among our church. Denise Ai, Theresa Simmons, Ronny Wahba, and Rick Whitaker will be sharing their experiences and provide guidance as we pursue racial reconciliation in the church and throughout the nation. Invite a friend and enjoy the conversation over cup of a coffee or latte.
